We’re so happy to announce The Overcoat has been acquired by Amazon Prime & discover.film and is now streaming worldwide! 🌍

If you told me this ten years ago, I’d have been (a) over the moon, and (b) it’s going to take TEN YEARS? But it’s been totally worth it, dagnabit..🧥👻❤️

It was a completely terrifying privilege to be series director on 20 shots of Opera, the largest single-event commissioning project in Irish operatic history (yikes). They’re all online now on Irish National Opera's website...

So proud that Alicia is in the RHA summer exhibition, which opens today. I’m planning to spend the whole summer standing in front of it + pointing at it really, really distractingly. Come do it with me, it’ll be fun!

So excited to be premiering The Overcoat and Metal Heart at the 2018 Galway Film Fleadh. We'll hopefully be getting them out there more soon and I promise not to go on and on about them and will be totally interested in what you're doing too, okay?

東京ドリフタ / Tōkyō dorifutā

As if in a dream, working with the incredible Enda Walsh on 'Arlington [a love story]' at Leisureland, Salthill, for the 2016 Galway International Arts Festival, alongside the insanely brilliant Charlie Murphy & Oona Doherty, Landmark Productions, and all Enda's crazily talented team. We is coming to the Abbey Theatre from February 10th-25th, then St Ann's Warehouse in Brooklyn in May 2017...

I've got some work in the 2016 RHA exhibition! I'll be standing beside them at all times, shaking hands with everyone passing by, whether they want to or not. Be one of those people!

Beyond excited to have this piece included in the 2015 RHA Summer Exhibition. Feel free to poke me. It won't make any difference.

One of the pieces from our visual design for Hedda Gabler, in the Abbey Theatre, Dublin, April-May 2015, directed by Annabelle Comyn. Music by Philip Stewart.

The Flickr Blog has very kindly done an interview with me about the Hennessy Portrait Prize, where I proceed to faff on and on for a good ten minutes. YOU'RE WELCOME.

Directing 2nd Unit on Rainmark's new ITV production 'The Frankenstein Chronicles' in Belfast has (a) let me hang out with my old friend Ben Ross, who directed 'The Young Poisoner's Handbook', and (b) allowed me to occasionally steal shots of some of the amazing locals who are acting in it...

i heart these guys. les arcs, december 2014.

Come see my piece in the Solomon Fine Art winter collection! Okay, fine, don't. Be like that.

This was a special day.

'The Stag' has been selected for the 2013 Toronto Film Festival.

This means we make party.

It's getting a UK/Ireland release early next year. Time to do a shitload of crunches.

A really special day taking rehearsal shots for Conor McPherson's gorgeous new play 'The Night Alive', which opened at the Donmar Warehouse in June 2013.

King Lear in the Abbey Theatre, Dublin, Feb-March 2013.
